Bhopal, March 3 (HS). Panchayat, Rural Development and Labor Department Minister Prahlad Singh Patel performed the Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 14 crore 70 lakh in a program organized at Municipal Council Kareli in Narsinghpur district on Sunday. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Kailash Soni, former minister Jalam Singh Patel, Municipality President Sushila Mamar and public representatives were present.
Minister Patel said that this series of development works will continue. Speed and progress are two important dimensions in the development model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The introduction of direct cash transfer technology into the hands of beneficiaries by the Prime Minister has eliminated middlemen. Special attention is being paid to quality in construction works. We will have to work together to make Kareli an ideal municipality.
Minister Patel said that for this, a better action plan should be elaborated with foresight. There should be no drainage problem in the city, special care should be taken of cleanliness, these important things have to be kept in mind. The land in public places is limited, we have to utilize it all judiciously. With this, we can provide better facilities to our coming generations.

In the program, CC road and drain construction at a cost of Rs 4.75 lakh in Subhash Ward, drain construction and ramp work at a cost of Rs 1 lakh in Subhash Ward, road and drain repair at a cost of Rs 1 lakh in Hanuman Ward, one in Rajendra Ward. Repair of culvert and drain costing Rs 1 lakh, construction of culvert costing Rs 3.5 lakh in Niranjan Ward, CC road costing Rs 3.5 lakh in Radhavallabh Ward, repair and maintenance of community building at Somwara Bazaar costing Rs 9 lakh in Ram Ward. Beautification, construction of CC road and drain costing Rs 3.5 lakh in Mahadev, repair of toilet located near Budha Mahadev temple costing Rs 5 lakh in Shastri ward and beautification in front, construction of CC road and drain costing Rs 19 lakh in Hanuman ward, Ganesh Construction of CC road and drain in the ward costing Rs 15 lakh, construction of CC road and drain up to the main road costing Rs 13 lakh in Narsingh ward, construction of CC road and drain costing Rs 12.5 lakh in Shastri ward, construction of CC road and drain costing Rs 12.5 lakh in Mahatma Gandhi ward. CC road and drain construction work worth lakhs of rupees is included.
Under Kayakalp Abhiyaan 2.0, renovation of BT road from Old NH 26 to MGM College at a cost of Rs 9.99 lakh, CC road from Gurudwara to main road via Jhanda Chowk Somwara Bazaar at a cost of Rs 56.06 lakh, Om Bakery to Society in Mahendra Ward. This includes the work of renovation of CC road at a cost of Rs 22.90 lakh and culvert and BT road from Wasid Khan to Complex to Balaji Nagar in Narsingh Ward at a cost of Rs 19.82 lakh.
