Mainpuri, 23 October (Hindustan Reporter). Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Mainpuri, Dimple Yadav has expressed confidence that the party's candidates will win the by-election. During this he targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP was claiming that it would win 80 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, but what happened. Similarly, in the by-elections also, SP will perform better and win.
On the question of the Chief Minister's statement that if you divide, you will be divided, Dimple Yadav said that the people of Uttar Pradesh understand that the present government is trying to divert people's attention with such statements. Today's youth want employment. The daughters, women and sisters of the state want that they should get security. Our farmers want that they should get cheap fertilizers and cheap electricity. Therefore all these things are not going to have any impact. As far as strategy is concerned, we all will fight the elections together.
He said that this government does not know what is the situation on the ground. This time the public will vote keeping in mind such issues as the condition of health services and how the education sector is going.
When asked about Tej Pratap Yadav being made the candidate from Karhal seat in the by-election by not giving ticket in the election, Dimple Yadav said that time decides. The party takes decisions based on the situation. Our effort will be to ensure that SP wins Karhal seat with maximum votes. On the question of BJP not fielding a candidate, he said that after understanding and assessment, the party wants to field a candidate, this is a process which all parties do.
