News India Live, Digital Desk: Nowadays, it is rare to see any examination in Bihar and there is no commotion after it. Today the streets of Patna once again echoed with the slogans of students. Bihar STET aspirants, who are dreaming of becoming teachers in future, lost their patience today and surrounded the office of Bihar Board (BSEB).
The matter itself is such that it is natural to get angry. Imagine, you have studied day and night, and when you give the exam, you come to know that there are mistakes in the answer key issued by the board. Today the students have opened a front against the board regarding this very matter.
After all, what is the issue? (What is the issue?)
The simple issue is of ‘wrong questions and wrong answers’. Students say that in the provisional answer key that has been issued, answers to many questions have been given wrong. Students argue that if the final result is made on the basis of these wrong answers, then thousands of eligible students will fail by one or two marks and their career will be ruined.
Brother, who knows better than you what is the importance of a government job in Bihar? Here Mahabharata gets played for each number.
What are the students asking for? (The Demands)
The demand of the candidates protesting outside the board office is very clear and simple. “We are not in a hurry for the result, but we do not want wrong results!” They say that before releasing the final result, the board will ‘Revised Answer Key’ Release. So that students can know whether their objections have been accepted by the board or not. Students want transparency to be maintained so that injustice is not done to anyone.
The atmosphere is very hot!
The view around Sinha Library Road and BSEB office in Patna was worth seeing today. Crowd of students, police guard and slogans echoing in the air. The students are clearly saying that they are not going to back down until their demands are met. They fear that once the results are out, they will have to make rounds of the courts and the recruitment will be put on hold again.
Now it remains to be seen how seriously Anand Kishore ji (Board Chairman) and the BSEB administration take this request of the students. At present, the battle of “Aar Ya Paar” is going on in Patna.
