Naxalism remains a serious problem in states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Naxalites try to run a parallel power against the government in the areas under their influence.

This incident once again emphasizes that the Naxal problem in Jharkhand is still not completely eradicated and there is a need for continuous conscious and effective campaigns to deal with it. We are wishing speedy recovery of the injured officers.
