Announcement of release of new notification on 31 December

The student union held a press conference in this regard, in which it was said, ‘The new notification will be issued on December 31. The new notification will outline the changes to the Constitution.

The interim government and the main opposition party opposed this proposal.

The constitutional changes demanded by the students have been opposed by Bangladesh’s interim government and the main opposition party. The interim government has said that the government has nothing to do with this announcement. At the same time, Bangladesh Nationalist Party, the party of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, has expressed displeasure over the demand of the students. Senior party leader Mirza Abbas has called him a fascist.
