A very strange and surprising case has come to light from Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man blind in love created a false robbery story of Rs 2.5 lakh to please his girlfriend and buy a new car. He himself had also made a fake video of this entire “loot” from his mobile, so that the police and their owner could be misled. However, the police exposed the entire conspiracy in a few hours and pushed the young man behind bars.
What was the whole matter?
The incident came to light when a young man named Ayush used to work as Mustakim Hussain, the owner of a clothes shop in Kheri police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri. On Monday, he was going from the shop to deposit 2.5 lakh rupees in the bank. Just then, Ayush lodged a police complaint that his mobile was snatched while going to the bank and looted with Rs 2.5 lakh. He also showed a video made on his mobile as evidence, in which he was claiming that the video was during “robbery”.
Police suspected, such open secret
There were some things in Ayush’s statement and video, which the police immediately got suspicious. The case was of robbery of two and a half million and the story of Ayush was not freezing. A team under the leadership of Kheri Superintendent of Police immediately started investigation. Police searched CCTV footage around the spot and questioned Ayush strictly. His statements were constantly being contradictory.
Finally, the Ayush broke down on strictly interrogation and he spilled the whole truth. He confessed that he had not been a victim of robbery, but he coined the whole story himself.
Story of girlfriends and car
During interrogation, the police came to know that Ayush had a girlfriend and he used to love her unmatched. His girlfriend wanted a new car, and Ayush wanted to get him the car. The proposal for marriage was also in mind. To fulfill this wish of girlfriends, he created all this drama to grab his owner’s two and a half lakh rupees and buy a new car. He thought that in this way he would take the owner’s money and would fool the police as well.
The police have arrested Ayush and registered a case against him in the relevant sections of cheating and conspiracy. This incident shows what extent some people can go blind in love and what tricks to commit crime.
