Terrorist in diplomat skins? NIA’s call to Pakistani officer who conspired to attack India:

A similar shocking case has come to light, in which the name of a Pakistani diplomat has come in conspiring in terrorist attacks in India.

A special NIA (National Investigation Agency) court of Chennai has issued summons to a Pakistani diplomat named Amir Zubair Siddiqui. Siddiqui is accused that when he was posted in the Pakistani High Commission in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, he hatched a conspiracy to hold a big terrorist attacks like 26/11 in India.

Who is this rich Zubair Siddiqui?

Amir Zubair Siddiqui was not a small officer, but an officer of Pakistani Foreign Service. Between 2009 and 2016, he was working as a visa counselor at the Pakistani Embassy in Colombo. NIA says that by taking advantage of this posting, Siddiqui was carrying out a dangerous conspiracy against India.

What was the complete planning of the attack?

According to the NIA investigation, Siddiqui had prepared an entire network to create havoc in India. His plan was:

1. Targeting big cities: Under this conspiracy, the US consulate in Chennai, Israeli Consulate in Bangalore and Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam were to be targeted.
2. Infiltration via Sri Lanka: To carry out the attack, two terrorists were to be sent to Maldives by sea from Pakistan. From there they would reach Sri Lanka and then enter India by boat.
3. Business of counterfeit notes: In order to run the terrorist network and provide money, Siddiqui also created a big racket of fake Indian currency notes. He used to send these fake notes into India and convert it into real money, so that that money could be used for terrorist activities.

How to open this conspiracy?

The entire conspiracy was busted when the NIA arrested Sri Lankan citizen Muhammad Sakir Hussain. Hussain told the full story of Siddiqui in the interrogation. He told how Siddiqui sent him to spy and take pictures of American and Israeli Embassy. The NIA has also filed a charge sheet on some other people including Hussain in this case.

The court has now asked Siddiqui to appear on October 29. This case once again shows how Pakistan uses its land to spread terrorism against India, and in this work it does not hesitate to use even its diplomatic missions.
