Saif said that on the night of 16 January, he and his wife Kareena Kapoor were in their bedroom on the 11th floor, when he heard the screams of his nurse Eliama Philip. Saif said that he overcame the attacker and caught him. Meanwhile, the attacker made several stabs with a knife in his back, neck and other places.

In a statement to the Mumbai Police, Saif Ali Khan said that when he heard the screams of his nurse Ilyama Philip, both of them ran towards Jahangir’s room where Ilyama Philip was also sleeping. There he caught sight of a stranger. Jahangir was also crying. Saif said that when the attacker stabbed him, he was injured and somehow rescued himself, then pushed the attacker back.

Saif’s friend supports his family in hospital

Actor Saif Ali Khan is currently discharged from Lilavati Hospital and is at home. After the incident, an auto driver took him to the hospital in an injured condition, where his friend officer Zaidi completed the rest of the process in the hospital. Officer Zaidi is a family friend of Pataudi. On January 16, at 3:30 am, he received a call from Saif Ali Khan’s family members and was asked to reach Lilavati Hospital, where Saif was admitted.

Zaidi did not go to the hospital with Saif
