The biggest deal between India and America is reaching Delhi today:

News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is another important day towards further strengthening relations between India and America. A high-level delegation of officials from the US is reaching India today, i.e. on Monday. The tour is considered extremely special in terms of talks on important issues like trade, investment and movement of people between the two countries.

The meeting is being held under the ‘Indo-US Trade Policy Forum’ (TPF), which is the biggest platform to resolve trade-related issues and explore new opportunities between the two countries.

Which big issues will be discussed?

In this important meeting, many such topics are expected to be discussed, which will directly affect the economy and common people of both countries:

1. Business and Tariff: Both countries will consider how to increase trade between them. There will be an attempt to resolve the small differences regarding the import duty (tariff) on some goods.
2. Relaxation of Visa Rules: This is probably the most important issue, which Indians are eagerly waiting for. India is constantly demanding from the United States that it makes its visa process easier and faster for Indian professionals, students and traders. This meeting is expected to make any positive progress on this.
3. Large trade deal route: Although no major trade deal is likely to be signed, this meeting may lay the foundation for a broad -free trade agreement (FTA) in future.
4. Cooperation in the service sector: India wants its IT professionals and better access to the US market for the service sector. This will also be discussed.

The Indian party will be led by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. This tour is also important because it is recently taking place after the US President Joe Biden’s successful India tour. This clearly indicates that both countries are fully committed to taking their business and strategic relations to a new height.
