Monsoon has now completely gone from North India and the pink cold has slowly started knocking. People have got relief from rain in many states. Light cold is being felt in the morning and evening, while there is good sunshine during the day. However, rain still remains a problem for the people in many states of South India.

Rain alert still in these states

The Meteorological Department says that monsoon will also depart from parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Bihar in the next 3-4 days. But the rainy season is likely to continue in Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu.

Weather took a turn in the mountains, snowfall continues

As soon as the monsoon leaves, snowfall has started on the mountains. A white sheet of snow has spread on the high peaks of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Especially, Kedarnath Dham has been experiencing continuous rain and snowfall for the last few days. Due to this, the cold in the hilly areas has suddenly increased and the temperature has dropped to 10 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

The snowfall on the mountains has now started affecting the capital Delhi and the surrounding plains. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather is expected to remain clear in Delhi-NCR till October 13. The temperature here can remain between 18 to 33 degrees Celsius, due to which a slight coolness will be felt in the morning and evening.

Weather condition of Uttar Pradesh

People of Uttar Pradesh may have to face heat today and tomorrow. The temperature will increase due to strong sunlight during the day. However, the weather may change here also from October 13. It is expected that along with cold winds, there may be light drizzle in some areas.

Monsoon will also go from Bihar

Monsoon is currently stalling in some parts of Bihar, but it will disappear completely in the next 2-3 days. After this, there will be mild cold in the morning and evening in the state, while the sky will remain clear during the day. The temperature here is expected to be around 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light to moderate rain in the next 24 hours in the states of Northeast India such as Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka of South India.
