Mumbai: The case of attack on Saif Ali Khan has taken a big turn. Ruhail Amin Fakir, father of accused Shariful Shahzad, has given a shocking statement. The suspected accused seen in the CCTV camera of Safni Building at the time of the attack is not his son. The police have wrongly arrested my son. He’s never wrestled, he doesn’t like it.

In such a situation, the statement of the father of accused Shehzad is contrary to the claim of the police. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police have arrested the accused Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir alias Vijay Das (age 30), who is said to have attacked Saif.

A news channel talked to the father of accused Shehzad. Photos of both the CCTV and his son were sent to him on WhatsApp. His father Ruhail claimed that the picture shown by the police in the CCTV was of someone else. I am Shehzad’s father, I am saying this only after looking at the photo carefully. The suspect seen in the CCTV of Saif’s house is not my son. The one who has been arrested is my son. The suspect is also not as tall as my son. I have seen the photo many times. Showed it to my family too.

Shahzad’s father further said that your country is so big, everyone’s face is similar to someone else, both the pictures are very different. There is a lot of difference between the two. The police have wrongly arrested my son. My son never had hair like that. In the CCTV footage, his hair is visible forward. Police are saying that Shehzad has cut his hair after the incident.

On this Ruhail said that ‘I am his father. Even if he cuts his hair, I will still recognize him. However, the police say that they have investigated the matter in every way. They reached here only after complete investigation. The Crime Branch team of Mumbai Police has also claimed that 19 fingerprints of Shehzad have been found at the incident site which are being investigated. At the same time, this is a high-profile case and now that the father of the accused has made an important claim, it should also be investigated.
