Natural Star Nani’s high-octane rural action thriller The Paradise has taken global theatres by storm, pulling in phenomenal numbers across domestic and overseas territories in its opening run. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the violent period drama has garnered massive pre-release hype and delivered the biggest theatrical opening of Nani’s career. According to trade tracking platform Sacnilk, the film’s cumulative two-day worldwide gross has surged to an astounding ₹98.50 crore, setting the stage for it to comfortably breach the prestigious ₹100 crore benchmark within its opening weekend.
Blistering Opening and Two-Day Box Office Breakdown
Following high-occupancy paid premiere shows on Wednesday evening, The Paradise opened to thunderous crowds on Thursday, generating ₹74.90 crore worldwide gross on Day 1 alone. On Friday (Day 2), the movie added an estimated ₹23.60 crore gross globally, bringing its total worldwide gross to ₹98.50 crore. Out of this grand total, domestic box office operations accounted for an impressive ₹72.50 crore gross, while overseas circuits contributed approximately ₹26.00 crore. Across all languages in India, the film’s net domestic collection stands tall at ₹61.15 crore, recorded across more than 17,680 screenings.
Home Bastion: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Anchor Theatrical Inflows
Unsurprisingly, the Telugu home heartlands of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana continue to lead the charge, generating over 77 percent of the film’s total domestic revenue. Across the paid previews and the first two days, the Telugu circuits pooled a staggering ₹56.25 crore gross, with Nizam, Coastal Andhra, and Ceeded belts registering packed halls. In neighboring regions, Karnataka emerged as the strongest non-Telugu circuit, delivering ₹7.35 crore gross, followed by Tamil Nadu at ₹3.00 crore, the Hindi and Rest of India belt at ₹5.33 crore, and Kerala adding ₹57 lakh.
Shattering Pre-Release Records and Career Milestones
The Paradise marks the second creative collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after their 2023 blockbuster Dasara. Bolstered by an ‘A’ certification from the censor board for raw action and gritty tribal themes, the film’s opening haul comfortably eclipsed Nani’s previous career benchmarks, including HIT: The Third Case (₹38 crore opening gross) and Dasara (₹36.25 crore opening gross). Backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the project features Kayadu Lohar alongside veterans Mohanlal, Sonali Bendre, and Sampath Raj, with an electrifying musical score composed by Anirudh Ravichander. With Saturday advance bookings showing aggressive upward trends, trade analysts anticipate the film will enter the ₹100 crore club before the close of day three.
