The path of farmers will be easy, Chakmarg will be encroachment free in any case

Sitapur, 18 December: District Magistrate Dr. Rajaganapati R. In the meeting held in the Collectorate auditorium on Thursday evening, he said in clear words that “It is our priority to free all the roundabouts of the district from illegal encroachment, so that the farmers can reach their fields without any hindrance.” DM said that for this purpose, construction, demolition and repair of roundabouts is being done under MNREGA scheme.

He said that “after the field visit of Sub-District Magistrates, a total of 5687 roundabouts have been identified in the district, out of which marking and measurement of 4250 has been completed.” According to the DM, “5652 IDs have been prepared for work on these routes and work is in progress on 3749 roundabouts, the remaining will also be completed soon.”

The District Magistrate said, “As per the instructions of the government, comprehensive action has been taken to remove encroachments from the roundabouts. This will provide convenience to the farmers in their transportation and the yield will also increase due to easy access to the fields.”

The DM also said that “Land disputes will be reduced by improving the roundabout and rural development will get a new impetus. MNREGA will provide the benefit of both employment to laborers and better roads to farmers.”
