The talent of 120 students of Tirthankara Mahaveer University will be tested in Hackathon | News India

Moradabad, 07 September (HS). The brilliant students and faculties of the Faculty of Engineering and College of Computing Sciences and IT of Tirthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad have once again geared up for innovative ideas. The talent of 120 students of the university will be tested in the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon-2024. The winners giving innovative ideas in the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon-2024 will be rewarded by the Ministry of Education. Teams will be selected for the final only after the second phase. Each team will have a maximum of six students, in which 01 girl student is mandatory.

It is noteworthy that this All India competition is going to be held for finding permanent solutions to the problems of 171 software and 68 hardware of the Central Government. For this, 09 software and 09 hardware teams, i.e. a total of 18 teams are participating in the first phase. 108 students of TMU will give presentations under the leadership of three dozen mentors.

Regarding this, Executive Director Akshat Jain said that the Smart India Hackathon competition is an excellent amalgamation of the culture of creation and innovation. This is a great initiative of the Indian Innovation Council – IIC, AICTE, MIC and Ministry of Education. TMU has shown its strong talent in the national frame of the Hackathon Competition of 2020. The victory of two teams from one institution is no less than a unique achievement. He expressed hope that our students will touch the peak once again.
