The waiter ran a railway ticket racket; Lakhs of rupees were earned using fake signatures and stamps of officers

When we go somewhere, we are very happy and excited. Taking advantage of this, a waiter from CSTM canteen in Mumbai started the business of earning money and thousands of rupees are earning one and a half to two lakh rupees a month in lieu of tickets.

What is really its type?

Ravindra Kumar Sahu is a waiter in the railway canteen at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai. He used to serve tea for senior officials. He signed a fake signature of Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Chief Medical Superintendent and Chief Engineer. He was using these tickets in the request letters to confirm the tickets of the passengers. He was also making his fake signature. He was earning one and a half to two lakh rupees every month in lieu of a confirmed ticket from VIP quota.

He committed a big scam by cheating in VIP quota. He was charging thousands of rupees for tickets from passengers. This type of thing came to light during the investigation of Kolkata Mail. Jitendra Sharma, Chief Vigilance Inspector of Central Railway and R.S. Some passengers told Gupta’s team that they had confirmed their tickets by paying more money. He then questioned him. This revealed the scam of misuse of VIP quota by Ravindra Sahu.

Initial investigation revealed that he had been doing so for three months. But in reality, he has been suspected of fraud for two years. The investigation into his UPI account revealed that he was earning lakhs of rupees every month. Vigilance inspectors have started interrogation by taking him into custody.
