While an alert of heavy rain has been issued in many districts of eastern UP, the monsoon farewell has started to be heard from western UP. According to the Meteorological Department, the next few days the eastern parts of the state may see heavy rain, while the weather will remain dry in the western areas.
Yellow alert of heavy rains in eastern UP
The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow alert for areas adjacent to eastern Uttar Pradesh and Terai. It is being told that due to the formation of a new low pressure area, the monsoon has become active again, which will be seen on Eastern UP. According to the weather department, districts like Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich are expected to receive heavy rains for the next few days from today to the next few days. These areas are projected to rain with thunderstorms, and people have been advised to be vigilant.
Talking about Lucknow and surrounding districts, the sky can be cloudy here today, but the expectation of heavy rains is less. However, light to moderate rain activity may also increase in Lucknow and surrounding areas from 15 September. Today, the maximum temperature of Lucknow is estimated to be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is around 27 ° C.
Monsoon farewell started from western UP
On the other hand, conditions are now getting favorable for the return of monsoon in western Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department says that the return of monsoon from western Rajasthan can begin around September 15, which will also affect the weather of western UP. Due to this, the weather is likely to be mainly dry and a slight increase in temperature in the western districts in the coming days. However, some western districts may also receive light rain between September 15 to 17, but it will not be like Eastern UP.
Overall, the people of the state will have to be ready for a mixed attitude of the weather for the next few days. While the people of eastern UP will get relief from heat and humidity from rain, the people of western UP may have to wait a few more days.
