News India Live, Digital Desk: At present the biggest discussion from Lucknow to Delhi is about only one thing. ‘How will the new team of UP BJP be?’ It sounds like a routine process, but the inside news is that this time forming the Executive Committee has become like a tough task for the leaders.

‘Tightrope Walk’ of balance
Uttar Pradesh is not a small state. Here West, Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Awadh and Braj – each region has its own distinct political mood. The biggest problem facing BJP is to achieve ‘regional balance’.

If more people from Western UP are given posts, then the people of Purvanchal may get angry. If Bundelkhand is ignored, the vote bank there may slip. The party wants to fill the gap that was left in the Lok Sabha elections through this new team. Therefore, every name is being thought a hundred times before finalizing it.

Not only area, caste equation is also the pivot of UP politics. The party has to keep everyone happy – backward, extremely backward, Dalit and general class. The challenge is that the old and loyal workers should also be respected and the youth with new energy should also be given a chance.

Sources are telling that this time more emphasis will be given on ‘work’ rather than ‘recommendation’ in the team. That means, the one who has ground hold and can bring votes in his area will have the upper hand.

Why is this new team important?
You might be thinking that there is still a lot of time till 2027, what is the hurry? Actually, this new team will lay the foundation for 2027. If resentment arises in the organization now, its impact may last till the elections. The opposition is also laying its pieces, in such a situation BJP does not want to take any risk.

Overall, BJP is trying to make such a ‘perfect eleven’ which can excel in batting (publicity) and also destroy the opposition’s wickets in bowling (strategy).
