Newsindia Live, Digital Desk: The speculation of changing the Chief Minister in Karnataka has once again intensified and this time this discussion has started with the statement of a Congress MLA, Congress MLA Kare Hanumantiah created a political stir by saying that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar will become the new Chief Minister of the state after December.

The MLA claimed that after the assembly elections, there was an agreement between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivkumar for the post of Chief Minister for the post of Chief Minister under which the two leaders would take over as the Chief Minister for a certain period. He said that according to this agreement, Siddaramaiah’s term is going to end and DK Shivkumar will sit on the Chief Minister’s chair after December.

Kare Hanumantaiya also said that due to putting this truth in front of everyone, he is facing difficulties, his statement has once again brought the inner tussle within the Congress party to the surface.

This is not the first time that such power-sharing formula has come to light about the post of Chief Minister in Karnataka, before DK Shivkumar’s supporters have raised this demand, although senior party leader and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah himself has always denied any such agreement, now this latest statement of the MLA has rejected the state’s politics and has resumed the state’s politics and all the eyes have been on the next step of Congress Affairs.
