News India Live, Digital Desk: Nowadays we often hear that “future war” i.e. the wars of the coming time will be completely different from the old wars. Now that time is slowly going away when armies used to stand face to face and fight only with guns and cannons. Today is the era of “Non-Contact Warfare”. That is, without touching the enemy or seeing him, destroying his targets from a distance of thousands of kilometers.
Keeping this in mind, the Indian Army is now engaged in a major preparation, and that preparation is Integrated Rocket Force (IRF) To make.
Now you might be thinking that we already have missiles, so what is this new rocket force? Let us understand this in very simple language.
After all, what is this Rocket Force?
In simple words, the Rocket Force is a special part of the army, whose job is only to handle and fire missiles and rockets of different ranges. What happens now is that some missiles are with the Army, some with the Air Force. But when the Rocket Force is formed, all long range missiles and rocket systems will come under one command.
Its biggest advantage will be that there will be no delay in taking decisions. As soon as the order is received, attacks can be launched with precision. You can consider it as a “super upgraded version of artillery”.
Why did we need this? (China vs India)
The truth is that we felt the need for this after seeing our neighbours. You know that China is our neighbor and there is often tension on the border with it. China already has a dedicated ‘PLA Rocket Force’. They have missiles that can deliver precise strikes from thousands of kilometers away.
Indian defense experts and Army Chief believe that if we want to match China or make it realize our strength, then we should also India’s own Rocket Force There is a dire need. The Army realized that if we blow up the enemy’s communication centres, radars and bunkers from our own land in the first few hours of the battle, our victory becomes certain. This is called Strategic Deterrence – that is, the enemy should think a hundred times before attacking us.
What weapons might be involved?
This is very interesting. When this force is completely ready, it will include India’s most powerful missiles.
It mainly consists of ‘Pralay Missile’ The role of ballistic missiles will be huge. Pralay missile can destroy any enemy base from 150 to 500 kilometers and it is almost impossible for the enemy’s defense system to stop it. Furthermore, our most trusted Brahmos supersonic cruise missile and Pinaka Rocket System (Pinaka) Will also become the backbone of this force.
Imagine, on one hand a ballistic missile like Pralay and on the other hand a cruise missile like BrahMos – when both of them will work together under the same command, then you can imagine for yourself what will be the condition of the enemy on the border.
preparing for the future
Our Army Chiefs and defense experts have many times emphasized that precision strike is the biggest need of the hour. By becoming a rocket force, India will take another big step towards “self-reliant India”. We will ensure our security on the basis of our technology, our rockets and our force.
The overall thing is that the creation of Rocket Force is not just to increase the number of weapons, but it is a way of telling the world that India is now completely ready to go to any extent for its security and adopt modern technology.
