Rules Changing: UPI, Credit Card and these important rules of Railways will change from July 1

News India Live, Digital Desk: Rules Changing: Do you also use UPI daily or pay with credit cards? If yes, wait a little! From July 1, there are some changes that can change your habits and have a direct impact on your pocket. Let’s know what is going to change from the month of July.

1. Personal loan/credit line payment from UPI will be charged (notOr)

This is the biggest and new change on which you should pay special attention. Till now UPI payment used to be absolutely free. But, if you use UPI using an already approved ‘credit line’ (like personal loan or overdraft) by a bank More than 2000 rupees If you pay, now you Interchange fee May have to be given.

  • What is interchange fee? It is a kind of commission that is fixed between banks involved in transactions. They used to pay merchants till now, but now UPI transactions based on large personal loan can also be charged from customers.

  • How much will it take? The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has implemented ‘Interchange Fee’ on UPI transactions, which can be 1.1% of the total transaction.

  • Who will not be felt? Do not be upset, if you send or pay money to anyone through UPI from your general savings account, then there will be no additional fee on it. This fee will only apply to UPI payments with ‘pre-selection credit line’.

2. Many rules changed to credit cards

Since July, the rules of some major banks and credit card providers are also changing, especially if you pay rent or electricity bill with credit card:

  • ICICI Bank Credit Card Fee (Return):

    • If you pay the rent of the house with the credit card of ICICI Bank, then you will now have to pay 1% transaction fees.

    • This rule is coming into effect from 1 July. ICICI Bank had previously lifted this fee, but has now re -imposed it.

  • SBI Credit Card: Changes in Reward Point and Lounge Access:

    • Many cards of SBI Card (eg simplyclick, Simplysave, Aurum) are changing the rules from 1 July.

    • The facility of golf and lounge access on Aurum Credit Card will now change.

    • At the same time, reward points on payment of rent on some SBI cards will also be cut or can be completely eliminated. Be sure to check your card rules for details.

  • Airtel Payments Bank’s new rules:

    • The deposit limit of savings account at Airtel Payments Bank has been increased from July 1 (2 lakh to 5 lakh rupees).

    • The interest received on the money deposited in it can also change.

3. Train ticket rule (this is not new, just worth remembering!)

This is not a new rule that has been implementing from July, but it is an important rule that passengers should know. Indian Railways has already decided that if your train ticket Waiting List (WL) Is in or RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) Is, and even after the final chart is ready, it is not confirmed:

  • Your ticket will be automatically canceled.

  • And you will get its refund back.

  • Most important thing: If you did not cancel your ticket yourself and even after the final chart was made, he remained WL or RAC and you boarded the train (which is illegal), then the Railways to you No one will give refund.

  • Advice: Especially before leaving for the journey, check the final status of your ticket once!
