News India Live, Digital Desk: Half of the month of December has passed and the sound of the new year 2026 is being heard. But at this time the heartbeats of thousands of youth of the country are beating fast who are dreaming of becoming Assistant Professor or going into the field of Research (JRF). we are talking UGC NET December 2025 Candidates appearing for the NTA exam are checking the website of National Testing Agency (NTA) every now and then.
The reason is clear, waiting for the admit card i.e. hall ticket.
Growing restlessness among students
It often happens that as the exam date approaches, more attention goes to the ‘admit card’ than the books. Students are repeatedly visiting ugcnet.nta.nic.in to see whether the link is activated? Understanding your confusion, the latest news is that the admit cards are going to be released very soon. If reports are to be believed, NTA will make these documents available online just a few days before the exam.
What to do after receiving the admit card?
Just downloading the admit card is not enough. When you get the hall ticket in your hands, don’t lose your senses in excitement. Look at it carefully:
- Is your name and spelling correct?
- What is your exam center and shift timings?
- Is your photo visible on it clearly?
Many times, due to technical shortcomings, the details go up and down, which can be rectified in time by contacting NTA.
The easiest way to download hall ticket
You definitely don’t have to wander here and there. As soon as the official announcement is made, you will be able to login with your ‘Application Number’ and ‘Date of Birth’. My advice is to take at least two printouts of the admit card—one for your center and one at home as a backup.
a useful tip on the go
Often students start running after rumors floating on social media that the exam has been postponed or something else. Remember, consider only the information on the official website of NTA as true. This last time should be dedicated only to your ‘revision’ and mock tests and not just to searching the internet waiting for the hall ticket.
We have full confidence in your hard work. Stay calm and focus on preparation, the admit card will come on time. All the very best to you for your exams!
