News India Live, Digital Desk: The festival of Diwali is the biggest opportunity to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. On this day, everyone wants to please Goddess Lakshmi by worshiping as per the rituals so that there is wealth and happiness and prosperity in the house throughout the year. But do you know that if puja is not done at the right time i.e. auspicious time, then it does not yield full results?

Therefore, before worshiping, it is very important to know about the auspicious time as well as inauspicious times like Bhadra and Rahukaal. Come, let us know when is the best time and inauspicious time to worship Lakshmi on Diwali (20 October 2025, Monday) this year.

Best time to worship Lakshmi (Lakshmi Puja Shubh Muhurat)

The best time for Lakshmi Puja on Diwali is considered to be Pradosh Kaal i.e. after sunset.

  • Diwali Lakshmi Puja Muhurat: From 05:46 pm to 07:41 pm.
    • Duration: Approximately 1 hour 55 minutes.
  • Pradosh Kaal: From 05:46 pm to 08:21 pm.

When till when is Amavasya date?

  • Amavasya Tithi Start: From 03:39 pm on 20th October 2025.
  • Amavasya date ends: Till 01:19 pm on 21st October 2025.

Do not do any auspicious work even by mistake during this time (inauspicious period)

1. Shadow of Bhadra:
In astrology, Bhadra period is considered very inauspicious for any auspicious or auspicious work. The happy thing is that this year on Diwali, there will be no shadow of Bhadra at the time of Lakshmi Puja.

  • Bhadra time: From 04:51 am to 03:39 pm.
Since Bhadra will end in the afternoon itself and the puja muhurat is in the evening, you can perform the puja without any worries.

2. Time of Rahukaal:
Every day there is a time of about 90 minutes, which is called Rahukaal. During this time also, doing any new or auspicious work is prohibited.

  • Rahukaal time: From 07:51 am to 09:16 am.
This time is also in the morning, hence it will not have any impact on Lakshmi Puja to be held in the evening.

This year, the time of Lakshmi Puja on Diwali is free from both Bhadra and Rahukaal, which makes it even more auspicious and fruitful. Therefore, worship Goddess Lakshmi with full devotion at the mentioned auspicious time so that her blessings always remain on you and your family.
