News India Live, Digital Desk: Tragic Accident in Lucknow: A very sad news has come out from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man was swept away after slipping in a drain filled after heavy rains. This incident is being reported from Buddha Vihar Colony, Sector J, Buddha Vihar Colony of Aliganj area. The accident occurred so suddenly that as soon as the young man slipped his legs, the water flowed into the eyes, which also caused the people around. According to the local residents, the drain was filled with torrential rains on Friday and the water came to the streets. It was difficult to see the difference between the drain and the road. Meanwhile, this young man named Vipin Singh, about 30 -year -old Vipin Singh, inadvertently passed through the banks of the drain. Due to the foot slipping, he fell into the drain and disappeared in a few moments in the flow of heavy rain. Seeing this incident, it was seen, by which people could do something, by then it was swept away. There was a stir as soon as the incident was received. Police and relief agencies were immediately informed. Along with the police, the state disaster redemption force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams also reached the spot. The teams immediately started searching for the young man. The search continued till late in the night, but could not be discovered due to strong current and darkness. Local residents and family members saw the incident happening in front of their eyes and now all are in deep shock. They are praying for Vipin’s safety, but their hopes are also getting tarnished over time passing. This incident highlights the serious need for proper covering and maintenance of drains during urban planning and monsoon. Every year during heavy rains, such accidents happen, which not only causes loss of life and property but also creates an atmosphere of fear among the common people. Currently, the teams of NDRF and SDRF are engaged in their efforts and the search for the young man is going on.
