Tragic end to love affair: A case of a tragic and violent end of love has come to light in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man shot his girlfriend. This bloody incident occurred when the girl rejected her marriage proposal. This incident has stirred up the entire area. The police, as soon as the information was received, took action and arrested the accused youth.
The case is of village Burha of Karhal police station area. It is being told that a young man attacked his girlfriend and then shot him. All this happened when the woman clearly turned down the young man’s marriage proposal. The accused fired a gun on his girlfriend’s mouth. On hearing the sound of firing, people around immediately ran towards the spot.
People nearby immediately took the injured girl to Karhal Health Center, from where she was referred to the district hospital in view of the critical condition. In this case, Superintendent of Police (SP) Avinash Pandey immediately formed a team and ordered the arrest of the accused. The police team has taken the accused youth into custody without delay and questioning is going on. Police said that in the preliminary investigation, this love affair seems to be a case, where the accused did such a heinous act after refusing to marry. This incident raises serious questions on the increasing violent tendencies regarding rejection in the society.
