News India Live, Digital Desk: After the recent blast in Delhi, high alert is going on across the country. In such a situation, there was a stir in Ramnagari Ayodhya on Tuesday, when information was received that an abandoned bag was found on the devotional path leading to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. As soon as this news spread, there was a sensation in the entire area and top police officers quickly reached the spot.

High voltage drama went on for hours

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad were also immediately called to the spot. The police immediately cordoned off the area and restricted the movement of people, due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created on Bhakti Path for some time.

The Bomb Squad team examined the unclaimed bag with utmost care. It was a high voltage drama, where everyone’s breath was held. Everyone was anxious to know what was inside that bag.

What was found in the investigation?

When the bag was opened after hours of hard work and thorough investigation, everyone heaved a sigh of relief. No explosive or dangerous object was found inside the bag, but personal belongings and clothes of a devotee were found.

Police investigation revealed that this bag belonged to devotee Sushil Kumar, resident of Auraiya district, who had probably accidentally forgotten his bag and moved ahead on the Bhakti Path. The police immediately contacted Sushil Kumar and after confirmation, his bag was returned to him, after which he thanked the police and administration.

Even though nothing dangerous was found in this incident, it once again tested the security arrangements of Ayodhya. Amidst the high alert, people are appreciating the promptness and prompt action of the police and security agencies. This incident proved that the administration is in no mood to show any laxity regarding the security of Ramnagari.
