Mahoba, 23 August (HS). The uncle who tarnished the dignity of relationships by raping his brother's daughter (niece) was arrested on Friday in the Sadar Kotwali area of the district. The accused uncle had taken the niece to a hotel and committed this heinous crime and threatened to kill her if she protested.
The victim girl (14), a resident of a village in the Sadar Kotwali area of the district, while giving a written complaint to the police station, had told that on August 7, her uncle Guddu Singh alias Jarendra Singh took her to Chhattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh to send her luggage to Jabalpur. There, when it was night, he made her stay in a hotel, saying that he would send the luggage in the morning. That night, the uncle raped her. He threatened to kill her if she protested or told anyone about the incident.
In this case, the police registered a case against the accused under the rape and POCSO Act. The police registered the case and arrested the accused.
The search began. On Friday, the uncle accused of raping the minor, Guddu Singh alias Jarendra Singh, was arrested by Sadar Kotwali sub-inspector Mithilesh Mishra and constable Pankaj Sisodia from near Ratauli Purva. The police took action by sending the accused to jail.
