Varanasi, September 25 (HS). A unique sculpture was unveiled under the Waste of Art initiative at Banaras Rail Engine Factory (BARECA) on Wednesday during the Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight. “Kashi has been a city of intellectuals, this work reflects the tradition of discussion and sharing of intellectual ideas through abstract work.” This sculpture is made of iron scrap. And it was installed near the eastern gate of BARECA factory.
General Manager S.K. Srivastava unveiled this wonderful example of art. On this occasion, the General Manager said that this statue made in BARC is not only a symbol of art and creativity, but it also reflects BARC's commitment towards cleanliness and the importance of waste management. Making such statues by recycling iron scrap under Waste of Art is a great example of environmental protection and reuse of resources. He praised the officers, employees and artists involved in the construction of this statue and called it inspirational for cleanliness and environmental protection.
He said that this statue will not only enhance the beauty of the factory but will also give a message to all the employees and visitors of BARC that cleanliness, recycling and proper use of resources are important in building a clean and healthy future. Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer Subrata Nath, Principal Financial Advisor Neeraj Verma, Principal Chief Engineer Vinod Kumar Shukla, Principal Chief Medical Officer Devesh Kumar, Chief Mechanical Engineer, Production Sunil Kumar, Chief Safety Officer etc. were also present on the occasion of unveiling of the statue.
