How to invest in Uttar Pradesh : Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh will no longer wait for investors, but will knock on their doors itself. The UP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision, which can change the picture of industrial investment in the state. Now special offices of ‘Invest UP’ will be opened in the 5 largest metros of the country – Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and New Delhi.
The objective of these offices is very clear – to attract investors sitting in the big business and finance bastions of the country to invest money directly in UP.
A special team will sit in every office
CM Yogi had already approved the proposal to make Invest UP more powerful, and this decision is part of that series. An entire team will be deployed in this office, which will be opened in every city, which will include senior officials, ‘entrepreneur friends’ and office assistants. More than Rs 12 crore will be spent annually on running these five offices. This team will be in direct contact with big companies, investors and business organizations there, so that the path of investment in UP can be made even easier.
Every office has its own special mission
The focus of the office in each city has been decided according to the industry there:
- Mumbai: Here the focus will be on the world of finance, fintech and infrastructure.
- Bengaluru: This office will bring investors from technology, aerospace, semiconductor and electric vehicles (EV) to UP.
- Hyderabad: The focus here will be on pharma, data center and healthtech sectors.
- Chennai: This office will work for automobile, electronics and textile industries.
- New Delhi: This office will work like a central hub which will also become a convenience center for investors from Asia and Europe.
‘Bridge of trust’ will be built for investors
The government believes that with the opening of these offices, Uttar Pradesh’s ‘ease of doing business’ image will be further strengthened. When investors find the UP government office in their own city, they will get all the information and help immediately, which will increase their confidence.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says that Uttar Pradesh is no longer just a consumer state, but has become the first choice of investors. These new offices will act as a reliable bridge between the state government and investors. This step will not only attract big investors of the country towards UP, but will also attract the attention of foreign companies, due to which UP will create a new and strong identity for itself on the investment map of the world.
