While traveling to the train, we all worry about our goods, especially mobile phones. If a slight nap takes place, then there is a fear in the mind. At Charbagh railway station in Lucknow, the Government Railway Police (GRP) has caught one such vicious thief who used to take advantage of this compulsion of the passengers.
How was this thief caught?
The GRP team was patrolling platform number 4 and 5 of Charbagh station. Then he saw a young man walking in a suspicious condition. When the police stopped him and questioned him, he got nervous and could not give a satisfactory answer.
On searching strictly, Android mobile phones of three different companies were recovered from him. When asked about these phones, he confessed that he had stolen all these phones from the passengers sleeping in the train.
How did he commit theft?
This thief was so vicious that it used to target especially those passengers who were sleeping in deep sleep or while climbing in the train, whose attention was shifted from his belongings. In the blink of an eye, this phone used to disappear and took advantage of the crowd.
The GRP has registered a case against the thief and sent him to jail and is trying to find out the owners of the recovered phone.
This incident is a lesson for all of us. Next time you travel in the train, take special care of your valuables, because some negligence can cause great trouble.
