Vande Bharat Express … Whenever this train starts running on a new route, people have a different happiness and enthusiasm. Realizing speed, comfort and a new time journey, everyone wants this train to pass through their city too. Many people of Punjab were also having a similar dream, but now Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself has put a ‘break’ on this dream.

The government has clarified that there is no plan to run Vande Bharat Express on the Amritsar-Delhi-Firozpur route.

This news is no less than a shock for thousands of passengers who were expecting that soon they will get the gift of this premium train. But the question is that when new Vande Bharat trains are being run everywhere, then why is this important route being ignored?

Not only tracks, passengers are also needed

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this question in Parliament. He was asked by Aam Aadmi Party MP Vikramjit Singh Sahni when the people of Amritsar and Firozpur will get Vande India. In response, the reason given by the minister, was quite straightforward and clear.

He said that running Vande Bharat train on this route is not a profitable deal, because passengers will not be found as expected. In easy language, on this route, Vande is not ready to travel as many passengers as you want to run India.

According to the Railways, Vande Bharat is a premium train. It costs a lot in running and maintaining it. If there will not be enough passengers to fill the train, then it will prove to be a big loss for the railway. Before running the train on any route, the railway definitely conducts this survey that how many people are ready to travel on it. Perhaps in this survey, Amritsar-Ferozepur route Vande could not live up to the standards of India.

This decision shows that the railway is not only running on running high -speed trains, but is also seeing how successful they can be financially. Currently, the people of this route will have to wait longer for their favorite train.
