Lucknow, May 25 (HS). The sixth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections is underway in Uttar Pradesh. In some districts, people have boycotted the voting. The administration is busy convincing the villagers so that 100% voting can take place.
Villagers of Sishana, Pokhra Qazi, Jamoti Deeh, Jamota, under Dumariyaganj Lok Sabha constituency of Siddharthnagar, have boycotted the elections. The villagers are standing outside the village with banners and posters in their hands. It is written on these banners that 'No road, no vote'. Meanwhile, the district administration officials who reached on the information are trying to convince the villagers.
Similarly, villagers in Sarai Kansarai of Bhadohi district have boycotted voting. The villagers here say that correspondence was made to the administration and public representatives demanding the construction of a railway underpass, but no one has taken cognizance of it. Due to the absence of an underpass, the villagers face a lot of problems. This is why the villagers have boycotted the elections this time.
