Chandigarh, August 30 (HS). Vinesh Phogat, who was out of the Paris Olympics due to overweight, reached Darbar Sahib in Amritsar along with her family on Friday. Vinesh Phogat bowed her head here and sought blessings for her success.
Vinesh was accompanied by her husband Somveer Rathi and other family members. They also listened to Kirtan by sitting in the Darbar Sahib Parikrama for some time. On behalf of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh honored Vinesh by giving her a model of the Golden Temple. While talking to journalists, Vinesh said that it was her dream to come here, which has been fulfilled today. Guru Sahib called her today, so she has come. She prayed for the well-being of all her loved ones and said that just as God has shown her the right direction till now, he should continue to do so in the future as well and she should also keep working for the welfare of humanity.
