New Delhi: India has clarified its tough stance on China’s investment proposals that have come after tension on the border and violent clashes in the Galwan Valley. According to sources, in view of the current political and geopolitical scenario, there is no plan to accept any investment proposal from the Modi government from China. This tough message from India clearly shows that it wants to maintain his self -sufficiency and perseverance towards China even on the economic front.

We do not need your money – a tough signal
According to recent reports, India has made it clear to China that the country needs external investment, but there is no immediate plan to accept the money coming from China. This reaction has come when India is emphasizing on strengthening its domestic economy and reducing foreign dependence, especially in terms of Chinese investment.

Emphasis on FDI policy and self -sufficiency
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has earlier clarified India’s approach to Foreign Investment (FDI) policy, in which national security and sovereignty are paramount. Given the current border dispute with China and its aggressive foreign policy, India is extremely cautious about accepting any investment that can threaten its economic or national security. After the clash in the Galwan Valley, the impact of the sourness in relations between the two countries is also clearly visible on economic and business relations.

This stance of India also reflects the changing geopolitical thinking of the country, where it not only wants to maintain its economic freedom, but also prefer diplomatic and strategic balance with its neighbors.
