• Speed: Their maximum speed is up to 110 kilometers per hour.
• Break: Air brakes are used in them.
• Security: A major drawback in the ICF coach is that in the event of an accident, there is a risk of climbing on each other.

Simply put, blue compartments are old technology.

2. Red/Silver Colorfuls (LHB coaches)

You will see the same red or silver compartments in high speed trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto and Tejas. These are modern and better.

• Name: These are called LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coach. It is based on the technology of Germany and now also formed in India.
• Texture: These are made of stainless steel, which make them lighter than iron coaches.
• Speed: These coaches are designed to run up to a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
• Break: They have disc brakes, which also help stop the train quickly and safe at high speed.
• Security: Their biggest feature is that in case of accident, they do not climb each other, which reduces the loss of life and property. Also, during the journey, the voice also comes down.

Apart from these two, you may also see green coaches (poor chariots) and brown coaches (in meter gauge trains), which are identified with different types of trains.
