In this proposal, caste -based census in the state and more attention is given to scheduled castes and tribes, backward classes and minorities. The Congress wants to carry forward social justice in Gujarat and move forward. While many leaders of Gujarat Congress are considering it a mistake. He says that former Chief Minister Madhav Singh Solinki had made the same mistake.
According to the report, a leader said that the party got 149 seats in 1985 due to Madhav Singh Solinki adopting Kham i.e. Kshatriya Harijan tribal formula. However, this made the Patidar and the upper castes isolated. The results appeared in 1990 and the party got only 32 seats. A party official said that such a history is in front of us. I believe that Rahul Gandhi should keep Gujarat away from caste -based politics.
