Peace meeting and Putin’s ‘power show’
Just imagine, two leaders are going to meet to talk about peace, and just before that a third leader rains missiles, what does that mean?
Just before the meeting of Trump and Zelensky in Florida, Russia launched a major attack on Ukraine. It is difficult to call it a coincidence. It seems as if Putin has deliberately chosen this ‘typing’. Many cities including Ukraine’s capital Kiev were attacked with drones and missiles overnight.
This attack was not just for destruction, but it was a ‘Open Warning’ Was.
Putin’s ultimatum: “Obey with love, otherwise…”
Through this attack, Putin has sent a strong message to both Trump and Zelensky. Russia is very clear that they do not accept a ‘peace proposal’ that is only beneficial for Ukraine or America.
Putin has given a kind of ultimatum in his words. He says that if Ukraine does not accept the ‘Peace Proposals’ and does not accept Russia’s conditions, then Moscow “By Force” Will find his own solution. That means the message is clear, listen to us at the negotiating table, otherwise we will face a worse situation in the battlefield.
‘Well in front, ditch behind’ for Zelensky
This is a very difficult time for Zelensky. He has gone to America so that he can get security guarantees from Trump and end the war in an honorable manner. Trump, who considers himself a ‘deal maker’, has his own plan to stop the war.
But this aggression of Putin has shown that Russia is in no mood to bow down right now. Russia wants the ground reality to be accepted (i.e. the areas occupied by Russia should remain its territory), while Ukraine is not ready to give up its land.

Donald Trump has often said that he can stop a war in a jiffy. Now when he and Zelensky will be face to face, the whole world will see whether Trump is able to cool Putin’s “anger” or not.
Putin has made his move and has strengthened his position by launching explosive attacks before the meeting. Now the ball is in the court of Trump and Zelensky. Will there be a middle path, or will this war continue to give us similar sad news in 2026?
