1. Full story of murder: In the police interrogation, Sonam revealed that he along with Ankit killed Deepak Saini in New Osmanpur, Delhi. After the murder, both of them went to Noida Extension to hide the bodies, where they escaped leaving the corpse in a deserted area.

2. Plan to escape from train: After the murder, both Sonam and Ankit ran by train from Delhi to Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. From there he took a taxi and left for Dehradun.

3. Change in the plan: Stayed in Haldwani: Both of them initially made a plan that they would hide in Shillong, Meghalaya, where Sonam’s brother lives. 5. The complaint was already done: Before the murder, Deepak had lodged a complaint against Sonam and Ankit in the police of threatening to kill him. Deepak said that both were harassing him for money and mobile. The police was investigating the case, but Deepak’s body was found just two days before the murder.

6. Deepak kidnapped and then murdered: According to the Crime Branch, on June 6, Sonam and Ankit kidnapped Deepak, forcibly placed him on a bike and later strangled him to a secluded place.

7. Reason for murder: Old revenge? It is reported that Sonam and Deepak were in a live-in relationship for some time, but there was a dispute between Deepak about the relationship with another boy. Sonam wanted to take revenge on Deepak using Ankit.
