News India Live, Digital Desk: When it comes to our ‘daughter of the house’, the boundaries of party politics and states fall short. Whatever happened to a daughter from Rohtas in Bihar, who had gone to Banaras with dreams in her eyes, has shocked the entire area. Now RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has come forward openly to provide justice to this family.
What is the whole matter?
A girl from Rohtas district died under suspicious circumstances in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The family alleges that this is not just an accident and they do not have full faith in the investigation by the local police. When Tej Pratap Yadav came to know about this, he did not think it right to remain silent.
Letter written directly to PM and CM
Expressing his condolences and displeasure, Tej Pratap Yadav has written an official letter not one or two, but directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Tej Pratap clearly says that considering the sensitivity of the matter, it will be investigated. CBI Should be handed over. He believes that since the matter is between two different states (Bihar and UP) and questions are being raised on the police action, only a central agency can make milk out of milk and make water out of water.
call for justice
Tej Pratap has emphasized in his letter that “we want justice for our sister, not just consolation.” She has appealed to the Yogi government that the culprits should be given the harshest punishment so that this does not happen to any other daughter.
Politics or responsibility?
Some people may call it politically motivated, but if a victim’s family finds someone to raise their voice in the big corridors of power, then their hopes for justice increase. There is anger as well as mourning in Rohtas at this time, and this step of Tej Pratap has assured the victim’s family that they are not alone.
What do you think?
Should big investigating agencies be involved in such serious cases from the beginning so that the evidence is preserved in time? Shouldn’t the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar together take concrete steps on this?
