News India Live, Digital Desk: Women’s Honor Scheme: Before the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement. He promised that every woman above 18 years of Delhi ‘Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana’ Every month under ₹ 1000 Honor amount will be given. The politics in Delhi has now become hot due to this delay. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started surrounding the Kejriwal government on this issue. BJP leader Rekha Gupta, while directly attacking the government, said that it is a big “deception” with the women of Delhi.
He said, “This is not new. The Aam Aadmi Party government has always been making such false promises. They have played with the feelings of women only to get votes in the election.”
Rekha Gupta raised the question that if the government really wanted to bring this scheme, then why was the money not kept in the budget for this? Describing it as a form of “corruption”, he said that the public has been misled in the name of filling the form.
Women of Delhi stuck amidst waiting
On one side there is a delay from the government, on the other side the opposition is the attacker. Amidst this entire political tussle, millions of women of Delhi are stuck, who filled the form with great confidence and are now waiting for the honor amount to come to their account every month.
This matter has now become of not just a plan, but the promise of the government and the trust of the public. It remains to be seen when this wait for the women of Delhi ends.
