News India Live, Digital Desk: Till now we all have been considering Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the face of Bihar. But now his son, Nishant Kumarwho has always been far away from politics and limelight, has suddenly come into the center of discussion.
The story is such that Congress asked Nishant Kumar to enter politics. ‘Open Invitation’ Lalu Yadav’s party RJD is seeing some deep ‘conspiracy’ of BJP in this. Let us understand what this whole matter is.
Congress’s ‘red carpet’
Bihar Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh recently said that if Nitish Kumar’s son wants to enter politics, it is welcome. He argued that Nishant is an educated and decent young man and just like the children of doctors or engineers choose their profession, similarly the son of a leader can also become a leader.
This statement has come at a time when there is talk that Nishant may return from his spiritual journey and become active in public life.
Why is RJD feeling afraid?
On the other hand, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has a completely different view. RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari called it a big political stunt. He says that this is a secret plan of BJP.
RJD claims that BJP is fed up with Nitish Kumar and wants to remove him from the chair. But his direct removal would bring disrepute, hence BJP is putting forward his son Nishant in the name of ‘legacy’ so that Nitish can be sidelined and the key to power can be kept in their hands (or with their favorite face).
What is Nishant’s stance?
The most interesting thing is that the person (Nishant) on whom so much debate is going on, himself is silent till now. Nitish Kumar has always been against nepotism. In such a situation, if his son’s entry happens, it will be a big U-turn for the principles of JDU.
So is Bihar really going to get a new ‘Yuvraj’? Or is all this just to create electoral buzz? Only time will tell, but it is certain that the suspense for the throne of Patna is increasing.
