News India Live, Digital Desk: Controversial Statement: Since the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the process and reactions related to the Ramjanmabhoomi movement continue. In this sequence, Iqbal Ansari, who was a party to Ayodhya dispute, has reacted sharply to a statement by Vinay Katiyar, former president of Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas. Katiyar gave this controversial statement about Muslim society, on which Ansari has now said that “Will we run away from Ayodhya due to someone’s escape?” Such statements often increase political warmth and can become a matter of concern for social harmony.

Iqbal Ansari expressed strong objection to Vinay Katiyar’s statement, saying, “When we did not run when our fight was going on, then why will we run now? We are permanent residents of Ayodhya and are here.” He also said that “this is the same Ayodhya where there is talk of building a mosque.” His indication was that Ayodhya is not just one aspect, but the place of all communities and no one can be forced to flee from here.

Ansari clearly said, “Ayodhya is the land of our ancestors, we have taken birth here, we have the right to stay here. Who will drive away and whom will we drive away?” He called such statements a hatred in the society and said that Vinay Katiyar should avoid making such statements. According to him, such statements only disturb peace and create unnecessary controversy.

This case once again exposes Ayodhya’s sensitive politics and relations between communities. After the construction of Ram temple, now leaders of both communities are expected to make statements promoting harmony and co-existence.
