News India Live, Digital Desk: Political and social rhetoric in Ayodhya has intensified since the construction of Ram temple. Following the recent statement of Vinay Katiyar, former president of Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas on the Muslim community, now Iqbal Ansari, a prominent party of the Ayodhya dispute, has reacted strongly to this. He has clearly said that even if some people want, then Muslims are not going to leave Ayodhya. Ansari has said another big thing – regarding the mosque to be built in Dhannipur.
Iqbal Ansari said in his statement, “We are saying that the soil of Ayodhya is good, Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb should remain. If someone raises his finger on us, it is not right.” He responded to Vinay Katiyar’s statement in which he said that if Muslims are beaten, they will leave Ayodhya. On this, Ansari said, “When we were going on, we did not run away, why will we run now?” He stressed that he is a native of Ayodhya and is a resident of here.
Iqbal Ansari made a shocking proposal about the mosque to be built in Dhannipur. He said, “Masjid should not be built in Dhannipur. The 5 acres of land which has been found, should do good farming, which will provide employment to Muslims and people there will earn money.” Ansari’s statement came at a time when land has been allotted for the construction of mosque in Ayodhya. According to him, it would be better to use this land for agriculture or other socio-economic activities, instead of building a mosque.
Iqbal Ansari believes that some people try to spread hatred and disturb the peace by making such controversial statements. It is clear from his statement that the Muslim community wants peace and brotherhood in Ayodhya, not any dispute.
