Why did mahadev take the form of hanuman know this amazing secret in Sawan

News India Live, Digital Desk: Mythological Story: Among Hindu scriptures, the relationship between Lord Shiva and Hanuman is considered extremely sacred and mysterious. Very few people know that Lord Hanuman is actually the eleventh Rudravatar of Lord Shiva. Often the question comes to mind that what was the need of Triloki’s lord, Mahadev, to incarnate Hanuman? A deep and motivational mythological episode is hidden behind it.

According to the legend, in Tretayuga, Lord Vishnu had decided to be born as a son of King Dasharatha of Ayodhya so that he could kill the evil Ravana and restore religion. When Lord Vishnu descended as Shri Rama, all the deities also took birth on earth to serve and help him. Mahadev himself was also an ardent devotee of Shri Rama and wanted to serve him.

One day, King Dasaratha performed a special yagna to get a son. At the end of this yagna, Agni Dev was pleased and provided a bowl of kheer to the king and told that by feeding it to his queens, he would get a divine son. Dasharatha distributed the Kheer to his queens, Kaushalya and Kaikeyi. Kaushalya also gave a little Kheer of her share to Mata Sumitra, and similarly she was going to give birth to three queens Ram, Bharata, Laxman and Shatrughna.

However, at the same time, Pawan Dev was passing through his path. Mother Anjana, who was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, was doing harsh penance to get children. Pawan Dev took a small part of Kheer from the yagna of King Dasaratha and took her directly towards Anjana Mata. Vayu dropped the kheer in Anjana’s hands. Anjana accepted it as a prasad of Lord Shiva. It is said that Anjana gave birth to a powerful son from Pawan Dev’s part and the divine effect of that Kheer, who was known as Hanuman ji.

This incident shows that Lord Shiva came in this avatar due to his unwavering devotion and service towards Shri Rama. In the form of Hanuman ji, he presented the highest ideal of devotion by becoming helpful in every task of Lord Rama, freedom from crisis and reaching the people, to the people. For this reason, Hanuman ji is known by names like Pawanputra, Anjanaputra and Shankarasuvan (son of Shiva). His birth is a direct proof of Mahadev’s devotion.
