Internet Speed: Today the Internet has become an important part of our daily life. Whether it is work, studies, entertainment or online shopping, everything depends on fast internet. But you must have often seen that the network does not come the same everywhere in the house. Sometimes the signal in the bedroom is better, sometimes in the drawing room. Sometimes it happens that internet speed is the fastest at a particular corner or place. The question is, why does this happen? Let’s know the real reason behind this problem.

Internet speed at home depends mainly on the Wi-Fi router. The radio signal emanating from the router spreads into a circular pattern. If the router is placed in the corner of the room, its waves collide with the walls and become weak. This is the reason why the signal is faster in some parts of the house and some weakened in some.

Thick concrete walls, wooden doors or large furniture can prevent Wi-Fi signal. Especially if there are many walls between your router and your phone/laptop, then the speed will automatically decrease. However, if there is no wall or object in the middle, the signal will reach fast, which will increase the speed of the Internet.

Microwave ovens, refrigerators, TV, Bluetooth devices and cordless phones in your home also affect the Wi-Fi signal. All these devices use radio waves, which can obstruct the signal of the router. This is the reason why speed may be good in some places, while some places are very slow.

If the router is kept in the middle of the house, its signal spreads equally in all directions, which gives good internet speed almost everywhere. However, people often place it in the corner of the room or on the ground. This limits the range of the signal and gives good speed in a few areas.

The speed of the Internet at home depends not only on the signal, but also on the number of equipment associated with it. If many people are doing streaming, gaming or downloading at the same time, the speed decreases. Therefore, the fastest signal tool will get the fastest speed.

Keep the router in the middle of your house. Keep it on a high place, such as above the cupboard. Keep it away from thick walls and large furniture. If your house is big, use Wi-Fi Extender or Mesh System. Keep the router away from other electronic devices.
