Wife sued former IPL cricketer, accused of having extramarital affairs and demanding dowry

Amit Mishra: Former IPL cricketer Amit Mishra has been accused of domestic violence and dowry harassment by his wife. Amit’s wife Garima has also filed a case against Amit Mishra’s mother Bina, father Shashikant, brother Amar, sister -in -law Ritu and sister Swati Mishra. Notices have been issued to all the accused on the court’s order and the case will be heard on 26 May.

Garima Tiwari alleges that her in -laws demanded Rs 10 lakh cash and Honda City car. Amit used to steal modeling earnings and also abused and beat him. Garima alleges that Amit was also in touch with other women on social media and had relations with other women.

Claimed suicide attempt

Garima claims that he also attempted suicide due to physical and mental harassment, but was saved from immediate treatment in the hospital. Garima has demanded compensation of Rs 1 crore from Amit Mishra and Rs 50 thousand maintenance allowance every month.
