Gandhinagar News: Swarnim Startup and Innovation University in collaboration with NIF Global Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and PTN News has created a world record for designing and setting up the world's largest Chaniyacholi. Chaniya choli worn with dupatta is an excellent type of traditional attire for women, worn during Navratri. These beautiful costumes are a captivating display of creativity, reflecting the cultural pride of Gujarat. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel paid a special visit earlier this week to appreciate this beautiful installation.
A group of 60 students from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad joined hands to create these stunning and attractive costumes. The installation was unveiled recently during the 'Khelaiya Navratri 2024' celebrations held at Shriyam Party Plot near Bhadaj. The structure of this beautiful installation was 72 feet high.
The three organizations jointly received the certificate from the London-based World Book of Records.
President of Swarnim Startup and Innovation University, Rishabh Jain expressed happiness over the achievement of the students. Rishabh Jain said, 'This project is a true reflection of how we foster passion and innovation at Swarnim Startup and Innovation University. The dedication of our students and their ability to combine tradition with creativity has resulted in this beautiful creation. This Chaniya Choli is not only a symbol of Navratri but also a symbol of the rich textiles of India and is the pinnacle of the immense potential of the youth. We are proud to make a significant contribution to this cultural festival of Ahmedabad. It took 32 days to prepare this installation. More than 3,000 meters of fabric was used to create this installation, which is equivalent to 500 sarees in length and width, weighing approximately 500 kg.
