Yamaha has officially started the deliveries of the XSR 155 in India. Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike offers a blend of modern performance and retro looks, making it a unique addition to Yamaha’s lineup. The launch of the XSR 155 comes shortly after Yamaha introduced several new models in India, including its first electric scooters Aerox E and EC – 06. With this new product lineup, Yamaha aims to offer something for every kind of rider, whether they are a fan of eco-friendly electric vehicles or petrol-powered cars.

What makes the Yamaha XSR 155 special is its neo-retro design, which is a perfect blend of old-school styling and modern technology. The bike has a round LED headlamp, matching round LED taillight and a stylish teardrop shaped fuel tank with bold branding of the XSR 155. Unlike many sporty Yamaha bikes with split seats, this bike has a flat, single-piece seat, giving it a classic and comfortable look.

Yamaha XSR 155 Engine
This motorcycle is powered by the same 155 cc liquid-cooled engine that powers Yamaha’s popular R15 and MT-15. It produces 18.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Deliveries have begun across India and the Yamaha XSR 155 will appeal to riders who want a motorcycle that looks great but performs like a modern machine.
