1. Travel time will be reduced: The journey that takes time between Farrukhabad and Kannauj will be much less than this new Fourlane Expressway. Fast and obstructed journey will save people’s precious time.

2. Increase in regional trade: Better connectivity will speed up business activities. It will be easy for the farmers to take their produce to the mandis, so that they will get better prices. Small industries will also benefit from this.

3. New employment opportunities: New industrial units, logistics hubs and services related establishments will open on the side of the expressway, which will create new employment opportunities for the local people.

Land acquisition and further plan:

In the first phase, the work of land acquisition will begin in Farrukhabad and Kannauj. The target of completing this expressway has been set to 2027.
