Easy ways to remove hair from woolen clothes

1. Old razor will be useful
This is the most effective and tried method. All you need to do is take an old or cheap disposable razor. Spread the sweater properly on a flat surface. Now with light hands, without applying much pressure, move the razor in the same direction from top to bottom. You will see that all the hairs will be cut and collected in the razor. Just keep in mind that your hands should be light, otherwise the cloth may get cut.
2. The wonder of packing tape
The wide cello tape or packing tape lying at home can also help you in this work. Cut a large piece of tape and firmly stick its adhesive side to the area where the wool is on the sweater and then pull it off with a jerk. All the small and big hairs will stick to the tape and come out. This method works especially well on clothes that have light lint.
3. Correct use of comb
A fine-toothed comb kept on your dressing table can also prove effective in removing hair. Spread the sweater straight and gently run the comb from top to bottom. With this, the hair will get entangled in the comb and will come out. This method is very safe and there is no fear of the clothes getting damaged.
4. Lint Remover Machine
If most of your warm clothes are prone to lint, you can also purchase a small lint remover. It is a small machine which runs on battery and very easily removes all the lint from the clothes and makes them as good as new. This is a small one-time investment that will come in handy for all your warm clothes.
How to prevent hair growth?
- Wash upside down: Always put woolen clothes in the washing machine upside down.
- Hand wash: Try to wash woolen clothes by hand and with very mild detergent.
- Wash separately: Never wash hot clothes with thick fabric clothes like jeans or towels. Due to rubbing, more hair comes out.
