There is a very big and important news for lakhs of students appearing for the 10th class examination from CBSE Board in 2026. The board has issued an important notice saying that this time a major change has been made in the papers of Science and Social Science. Not only this, now students will also have to write their answer sheets in a completely new way.

CBSE has clearly warned that if any student does not follow these new rules, his answers will not be checked at all, that is, he can get zero marks for those questions.

Science paper divided into 3 parts

This time the 10th science paper will be divided into not one but three different sections:

  • Section A: Biology
  • Section B: Chemistry
  • Section C: Physics

The biggest change in the answer sheet

Now students will have to create three similar sections in their answer sheet also. This means:

  • You will get answers to all the questions of Biology only Section A I will have to write only.
  • All answers of Chemistry only Section B Will be written in.
  • And all the answers of Physics are only Section C I will have to write only.

You cannot write one question of Biology in Section A and the other in Section C. If you do this, your answer will not be checked. The board says that this change has been made to make the process of checking copies easier and systematic.

Same change happened in social science also

Similarly, the Social Science paper is also divided into four parts:

  • Section A: History
  • Section B: Geography
  • Section C: Political Science
  • Section D: Economics

Just like in Science, you will have to create these four sections in your answer sheet and write the answers for each subject in the section designated for it.
